Coinage of Belize

Issued in 1979 minted at the Franklin Mint. The set is a Sterling Silver Proof rendition of Belize's circulating coinage at the time. The set includes one of each: Ten Dollars ~ Five Dollars ~ One Dollar ~ 50 Cents ~ 25 Cents ~ 10 Cents ~ Five Cents - One Cent.

It is believed that the sets were melted in quantity during the great silver melt-down in the late 1980s.

Flags Of The 12 Silver Producing Nations

Minted by The Silver Mint in 1973. 20 gram .999 silver. Limited edition of 5,000 sets. The individual ingots  are rated as R-3 in the 5th edition of The Complete Guide Book of Sliver Art Bars, accordingly valued at $229.00 at the top end in today's market. Very scarce today as most were melted in the late 1980's.

 

A Collection Super Bowl Silver Medallions

The collection consists of Charter 1973 Set # 681 of medallions for Super Bowls I - VII plus 5 others - 12 total. The COA is signed by Pete Rozelle Commissioner of the NFL. They were struck by Mint America and each medallion weight 2.66 ozs and like most of the others featured in the Treasure Chest, they have been subject to the meltdown in the late 1980's.
